Women of Inspiration

Adeline Ijang is a dynamic and multi-talented woman whose work spans diverse fields, including quality coaching, financial services, and event planning. She is also a published co-author of the anthology Beyond the Horizon, a project that reflects her commitment to storytelling and empowerment. Yet, among her many roles, it is her leadership of the Canada Virtuous Women (CAVIWO) organization that brings her the greatest fulfillment and defines her most profound impact.

Founded in Ottawa in 2016, CAVIWO began as a small prayer group for Christian women seeking mutual support and spiritual growth. Under Adeline’s visionary leadership, it quickly evolved into a powerful platform for the holistic empowerment of women, addressing not only spiritual needs but also emotional, financial, and social well-being. Today, CAVIWO has grown into a national and international movement, connecting women from diverse backgrounds and equipping them with tools to lead purpose-driven lives.

Adeline’s home has often served as a safe haven for women in distress—a place of shelter, healing, and refuge. Behind the scenes, she holds countless private meetings with women facing domestic violence, gender-based abuse, or personal crises, helping them find safety, support, and long-term solutions. Her compassionate presence and tireless advocacy have changed lives in quiet, often unseen ways.

In addition to her personal outreach, Adeline organizes conferences and workshops in Ottawa and internationally that focus on empowerment, education, and faith-based leadership. These events offer women the opportunity to build resilience, gain skills, and grow into their full potential. Her ability to connect with women across cultural and generational lines has been instrumental in CAVIWO’s far-reaching influence.

Adeline’s work has not gone unnoticed. In 2020, she was named one of the Top 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada by the Canadian International Black Women Excellence (CIBWE). Her excellence in financial services earned her recognition as a Top 10 Producer in 2023, and the same year she received a Leadership Award from CAVIWO International for her outstanding guidance and global expansion of the organization.

In 2024, Adeline received the Humanitarian Award from CAWAP in Brampton, Ontario, in recognition of her impactful work with women, widows, and families. That same year, she was honored with the Social Impact Trailblazer Award from HFHG Women Lead, an international acknowledgment of her commitment to empowering communities and advocating for women’s well-being on a global scale.

Adeline Ijang embodies servant leadership, grace under pressure, and a relentless dedication to helping others rise. Whether she’s offering practical support, spiritual guidance, or strategic leadership, her goal remains the same: to uplift and empower women to live full, free, and flourishing lives. Her legacy is not only in the awards she has received, but in the countless lives she has touched—one woman, one family, and one community at a time.
